Jessica Naslund, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator Supervisor

About Jessica Naslund, LSCW
Who I am, beyond the therapist
I am a therapist, educator, trainer, woman, daughter, mother, someone’s best friend, kayaker, lover of nature, ordained minister, perpetual optimist, crisis intervention specialist, and hopeless romantic. These parts of me shape how I show up in the world and how I show up with you, with curiosity, care, and a deep belief in people’s capacity to grow.

How I work
Experience and practical tools are woven into all the work I do to support people in living in a way that feels more genuine and peaceful. Sexuality is an area that needs to be discussed, because in silence and shame there is a perfect storm of pain and miscommunication.

I am here to put wind in your sails, not steer your ship. If you are trying to repair a relationship, end it peacefully, or simply feel more comfortable and confident in your own skin, I can help. My work centers on clear communication, understanding consent and personal parameters, and building healthier relationships with yourself, your friends, your family, and your partners.

Training and credentials
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified sexuality educator supervisor through the American Association of Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). I specialize in supporting individuals of all abilities in the areas of sexuality, gender identity, relationships, intimacy, body changes, communication, and trauma.
How I Work
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach where we slow down, clarify your goals, and build practical tools for communication, consent, and healthy relationships. Sessions are warm, honest, and rooted in respect for your values, your body, and your lived experience. My role is to support you, not direct you, and to help you move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

Start with safety and clarity
We begin by understanding your goals, your boundaries, and what feels most important to you right now.

Build practical tools
We focus on communication, understanding consent, and creating healthier relationship patterns that you can use in real life.

Move at your pace
You set the rhythm. My role is to support you, not steer your ship.

TRAINING AND CONSULTATION
Training and Consultation for Inclusive Sexuality and Safety
I provide comprehensive sexuality education for people of all ages and abilities. With a deep background in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, I have served in a variety of professional roles addressing sexuality, relationships, and trauma. Drawing from this experience, I have presented nationally on best practices in education, therapy, and abuse prevention.

In my trainings, I address common myths and misconceptions surrounding disability and sexual expression, how these beliefs affect intimacy and relationships, and how to establish clear boundaries while supporting healthy sexual development. I also focus on understanding consent, communicating personal parameters, and building respectful, safe relationships.

With experience in direct support, program coordination for employment and socialization, curriculum development, and system-level policy discussions on safety, I bring both practical knowledge and a systems perspective to support families, caregivers, educators, and the broader support community.

SUPERVISION AND CERTIFICATION

As an AASECT Sexuality Educator Supervisor, I provide guidance to professionals seeking Sexuality Educator certification through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists. This process requires a nine-month commitment, during which future educators receive practical tools, professional resources, and access to a supportive community to help them reach their goals.

For those seeking recognition from peers and professionals in the sexuality field, this investment strengthens both professional credibility and career opportunities. With a foundation in inclusivity and competency-based education, AASECT is a valuable asset to the sexuality education community, and I am committed to supporting future educators throughout this process.
